Ms. Durham's class put geometry principles to practice, by building and flying kites.

This week in Intro to Anatomy and Physiology, students completed a blood typing lab. They learned what blood type they have, as well as, what blood types they could receive in case of an emergency. One student found out she was O- which means she is a universal donor and she can donate her blood to anyone. #GoDragons!

Today the students in anatomy and physiology learned how to take manual and electronic blood pressures as well as manual and electronic pulse rates and oxygen saturations.

Students are learning how to perform adult and infant CPR correctly, so if they are around in an emergency they can help out.

You never know when an emergency will happen, hopefully when it does a Bingham Academy Dragon will be able to provide medical assistance until trained personnel can take over.

Today HOSA club members learned how to put on a fiberglass cast. Almost all of the students went home today wearing a cast to see how it feels for the night. Most of the students were extra excited to let their parents know that they can't do dishes tonight

Our amazing counselor and some awesome dedicated students worked on making cupcakes and 3D printed Dragons to give out to potential incoming students from middle schools in our community. They will also be giving out tickets for our upcoming game night on May 9th at 4pm. Game Night is FREE to any students 8th thru 11th grade no matter which school they are currently attending!

Parents and Graduates:

What an accomplishment! You made it. I am so proud of you for finishing high school. What a way to prove to the world you are ready to push forward and work hard. Wow.

If you remember, we had a photographer at the graduation ceremony that took many candids, as well as, captured the moment of handing you the diploma. Our photographer graciously provided her services free of charge. I wish to share the photos with you so that you can commemorate the event and share it with your family and friends for years to come.

Please follow this link and you will be able to access the photo album.

Again, I express my appreciation and recognize your hard work. Remember to step forward boldly. You are stronger than you think.

Game Night FREE for all students 8th grade to 12th grade.
4PM-7PM

Ms. Kasper's class went on a field trip today to Idaho State University's biology department and the cadaver lab.
The students were able to check out the Anatomage table and tour the cadaver lab where they had access to view and touch cadaver organs and cadaver bodies.
Such a very awesome experience a huge thank you to ISU for being so welcoming and sharing their wealth of knowledge with our students.
Afterwards we have lunch at Pizza Pie Cafe and went to Geronimo's to work on some team building activities and have some fun.
